De 17e kunstsalon van het LUMC

Een jaarlijks terugkerende gebeurtenis voor de medewerkers van het Leids Universitair Medisch Centrum is 'de Kunstsalon'.
Daar worden de schilderijen, foto's en beeldhouwwerken getoond die de medewerkers in hun vrije tijd maken.
Dit jaar had de door de Kunststichting toegekende 'aanmoedigingsprijs' de vorm van een workshop voor alle deelnemers.
Op 12 maart 2005 werd er een hele dag hard gewerkt onder leiding van Gijs Assmann en Erik Mattijssen. Op basis van
vakantiefoto's werd uiteindelijk een groot werk samengesteld en tentoongesteld in de galerieruimte van het LUMC.The 17th 'Kunstsalon' at the LUMC

The 'Kunstsalon' at the University Medical Hospital in Leiden, The Netherlands is an annual event fot its employees.
It is an exhibition of paintings, photographs and sculptures which employees have made during their free time.
This year, the art foundation encouraged participation by organizing a workshop. March 12th, 2005, under the auspices
of Erik Mattijssen and Gijs Assmann, a large work was completed based upon the participant's holiday photographs.
This was exhibited in the gallery space of the hospital.
