Fantasy Island 2

'Fantasy Island' is de naam van een scholenproject dat is
geïnitieerd door het Centraal Museum in Utrecht.
Een keuze uit de tekeningencollectie reisde langs middelbare
scholen in de provincie.
Ook in 2005 werkte Erik Mattijssen in het Calscollege in Nieuwegein
met alle 250 brugklasleerlingen.
Dit keer werden sieraden gemaakt.
Sieraden om iets van jezelf te laten zien,
of juist iets te verbergen.
Het leidde tot een vrolijke tentoonstelling in het Centraal Museum van 3 juni tot en met 10 juli 2005.
Fantasy Island 2 is the name of a school project initiated by the Central Museum in Utrecht.
A choice out of their collection Contemporary Drawing, toured various
secondary schools in the province of Utrecht.
Erik Mattijssen collborated with all 250 junior high school students at the Calscollege in
Nieuwegein, the Netherlands. This time the students made jewelry.
The theme was to make a piece of jewelry that highlighted or hid pieces/parts of the wearer.
This project resulted in a fun exhibition in the Central Museum in Utrecht, from June 3rd toJuly10th 2005.
